We are offering eleven quality pedigree bulls, all of them with well above average E.B.V's. The commercial suckler cows on offer are the majority of our autumn calving herd, and are only being sold because we are over stocked, and it suits our system better to major on spring calving. Every animal is home bred as are all the animals on our farm apart from 3 stock bulls. We have been a closed herd for 14 years. All animals have been BTV8 vaccinated, pedigrees were booster vaccinated on 05/03/09 and all cross bred cows and calves were vaccinated on 17/03/09 and calves second dosed 3 weeks later.
At the time of writing, all cross bred cattle have passed there pre movement T.B.test and pedigrees are awaiting T.B. test.
All autumn calving cows except two are in calf to Twyning Ash Admiral which is a top 1% recorded bull that was recommended for the M.L.C. young bull promotion scheme. The cows are all PD +ve with the exception of one the PD's were assessed manually and the stage of pregnancy estimated so pregnancy is guaranteed but the calving date is only a best veterinary estimate.
